Seminar: Our Collaborative Future in Agriculture: How will you participate and lead?
(Food Science and Technology)

Three-time Virginia Tech alumnus Dr. Richard Linton, the dean of North Carolina State University's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, will speak about the unprecedented present and the vital future of your involvement in global agriculture.

This is an unprecedented and critical time to be engaged with agriculture and food systems. One of our most critical, grand global challenges is finding solutions to feed a rapidly growing world. As the competition for land increases and the availability of farmland decreases, we will need to be more efficient with the production practices that we use. Our nation and world are shifting dramatically, and we need you to be an agent of change. How will you maximize your tenure at Virginia Tech so that you will be prepared to be a difference maker for agriculture?

For those who are unable to attend in person, the seminar will be streamed seminar live through Zoom:
