NEH Information Session
(College Event)
An information session with Senior Program Officer Dr.Caroline Cortina, from the Division of Public Programs at the National Endowment for the Humanities, will take place on Tuesday, October 29, at 3 p.m. in the Newman Library Multipurpose Room. This session is open to the campus community. Dr. Cortina will discuss funding opportunities from the NEH for public programs, research, digital humanities, education, and more. As the major federal funding agency for programs in the humanities, the NEH session should prove interesting to researchers interested in seeking funding for a range of projects directly relevant to the university's mission as a land-grant institution. This information session is sponsored by the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences. No RSVP is needed for the information session.
In addition to leading the information session, Dr. Cortina will also be available for consultations with scholars interested in discussing specific projects, proposals, and opportunities. Consultations will be available in the early afternoon on October 29 and late morning on October 30. These sessions will be scheduled ahead of time, and must be requested by scholars using the form linked below. Please submit requests by October 15, and the schedule will be confirmed by October 22.
