Conflict Analysis Poster Session
(Sociology)
On May 5th, PSVP 4104: Global Society, Violence, and Prospects for Peace will hold a one day poster session showcasing their semester-long group inquiries into prospects for peace in a given country or region. This project will serve as a culmination of their work as a Peace Studies Minor.
The event will be rather informal with 13 posters. The resident experts (i.e. PSVP 4104 students) will be there to provide thorough explanations about the area/region and answer any questions you might have. There will also be refreshments.
All details can be found on the attached poster. The event will take place on Tuesday, May 5th, from 5:00 to 6:00 pm in the Multipurpose Room (Newman Library), but you are welcome to come and go as needed.
We hope that you will save the date on your calendar and attend if you are able. We would really love to have a good showing from our department, since about 95% of the students are our majors. More information...
