The Literature and MA Programs in the Department of English are co-sponsoring a Zoom visit by Dr. Ramzi Fawaz of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Fawaz will be in conversation with Dr. Emmy Waldman, Visiting Assistant Professor of English.
"Join us for this very special opportunity to meet Ramzi Fawaz, author of the new book, Queer Forms. Queer Forms tells the history of forgotten feminist and queer popular culture from the 1070s, including lesbian sci-fi cinema, gay serial fiction, and queer comics art. Fawaz shows how these rebellious queer art forms transformed the landscape of US culture and paved the way for our current gender and sexual revolution."
The talk is open to all.
