The theme of this year's conference, Advancing the Economic and Social Well-Being of our Global Citizens through Community Engagement, reflects Virginia Tech's goal of working with stakeholders to become more actively engaged in creating economic and social impact in local communities in Virginia and around the world.

The conference will create an opportunity to continue the ongoing dialogue on the best practices in outreach and engagement and includes a keynote address, an awards ceremony, faculty presentations, a poster session, exhibits and a reception.
