Come and join us at Family and Farm Day at the Virginia Tech Southern Piedmont Agricultural Research and Extension Center (2375 Darvills Road, Blackstone) on Saturday September 15, 2007 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Have fun in a family atmosphere while learning about Virginia's largest and oldest industry, AGRICULTURE. Test your navigating skills in the corn maze. Express your artistic abilities with grain art. See sheep, goats, cows, and chickens. Milk a cow. Hold a live fish. Learn about growing peanuts, soybeans, corn, wheat, and cotton. Lunch will be available.
