Ed McMahon, Senior Resident Fellow at the Urban Land Institute, will present "The Dollars and Sense of Sustainable Development." McMahon will discuss the economic, social, and environmental benefits of green and sustainable development, including historic preservation, and examine some of the key trends and issues in metropolitan land use today.

This presentation is the first in Virginia Tech's 2007-2008 New Metropolis Lecture Series.
