Created under the leadership of Ann Kilkelly and Drew Dowdy, this collaboratively developed performance explores the personal and public politics of nuclear power: Is today's nuclear power safe, clean, sustainable, and 'green'? What role should nuclear power play as we confront the current energy crisis? Does nuclear power help to build the future we want? How do we decide? Each performance will be followed by a facilitated community dialogue.
This performance is partially supported by the Virginia Tech Institute for Society, Culture, and the Environment (ISCE) summer fellowship program. Building on past work with the Choices and Challenges Project, the Department of Science and Technology in Society in partnership with the Department of Theatre Arts, warmly invite you to attend these performances and help shape the community dialogue about nuclear power.
