The last week in September, something extraordinary happens in Blacksburg. This tradition and others like it make up Homecoming week, a time-honored practice at Virginia Tech for 76 years. This year's theme is "HOKIE PRIDE WORLDWIDE" in honor of the tremendous amount of support and well-wishes from around the globe following the events in April. It also signifies that HOKIES are everywhere! From small rural towns and major cities, to war zones in Iraq and shuttles in space. The Homecoming Board hopes that the theme will convey a sense of pride in being a part of the HOKIE NATION and continuing the long-standing tradition at Virginia Tech.
