Virginia Aquaculture Conference
(Seminar/Conference)
The Virginia Aquaculture Conference is designed for both those already in the aquaculture industry, and those who are considering starting an aquaculture business. It will provide an opportunity to learn about current and upcoming issues, new developments in culture technology, and to interact with others with similar interests. In addition, a trade show will accompany the program, providing direct contact with aquaculture supply vendors. Both shellfish and finfish culture activities will be addressed during the two-day program, as well as topics of interest to both groups, such as marketing and financial resources.
The conference is a collaboration of the Virginia Sea Grant Program, VDACS, Virginia Farm Bureau Federation, Virginia Tech, the Virginia Institute of Marine Science, and Virginia State University.
Registration fee: $50 prior to October 19 or $75 after October 19. The registration fee covers attendance at all meetings, the Friday evening reception, Saturday lunch, breaks, and conference materials. More information...
