This event is hosted by the Art and Society discussion group of the Graduate Scholars Society and co-sponsored by the Graduate School and UUSA.
The Art and Society discussion group considers a multiplicity of art forms and contemplates technology, science and engineering as they intersect and overlap with artistic expression. Questions such as how we define art; when does craft become art; what is the value of art for the individual or for a community; and how that value is measured and manifested, are at the forefront of their discussions.
