To assist faculty with the computer selection process, FDI has organized an all day event on Reading Day (December 6, 2007) in Torgersen Hall 1060 and 1040. This showcase will allow FDI participants, their support staff, and other interested colleagues to explore the FDI computer models that are available as part of the upcoming FDI track cycle (spring/summer 2008). This year, faculty can select from 35 different configurations of Dell, Fujitsu, HP, and Apple computers. Like last year, desktop, laptop, and Tablet PC models are available. As part of this event, not only will these computers be on-hand for you to explore, but Dell, Fujistu, HP, and Apple will also be sending sales representatives to answer any and all of your detailed questions regarding these machines. There will be formal presentations in room 1040. No appointment is necessary.
