FDI provides free copies of several Adobe products to participating faculty each year including Adobe Acrobat, and Adobe Photoshop Elements. These and several other Adobe products are supported through FDI Short Courses, the Virginia Tech New Media Center (with walk-in support available), and 24X7 on-line support through Element K tutorials at the Virginia Tech Software Skills Gateway.

Representatives from Adobe Systems will be present on Adobe Day to highlight the new features of their products to the Virginia Tech community. The main focus of the day will be Adobe Acrobat 8, Dreamweaver CS3, and Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium. These products are the latest versions of the Adobe software and the Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium combines many of Adobe's creative tools to include Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat 8 Professional, and Dreamweaver.This event is open to the entire Virginia Tech Community.
