  Beyond Barbie and Mortal Kombat: New Perspectives on Gender and Gaming  
(Seminar/Conference)

The Trent Distinguished Lecture Series in conjunction with the Center for Information Technology Impacts on Children, Youth and Families will host Dr. Carrie Heeter, professor of Serious Game Design at Michigan State University.
She is also MSU's Creative Director for Virtual University Design and Technology.
Her lecture topic stems from her recent publication in the MIT Press.
A reception will follow her lecture.
