Training new employees is an ongoing exercise within any department or unit on campus. Creating an online workshop for new employees can help streamline the training process.

In this short course, staff from the Institute for Distance and Distributed Learning will work with training representatives from nonacademic departments. Together we will create a plan of action for designing online training modules.

Participants will learn about online communication tools, teaching best practices, and how to create training modules that new employees can work through at their own pace. This short course is designed specifically for nonacademic departments.
