Lt. Eric Greitens will deliver the opening address of the VTCC Leadership Conference and Military Weekend. Greitens is a Navy SEAL who has been deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan, Horn of Africa, and Southeast Asia; a Ph.D. in politics from Oxford; book author; former White House Fellow, and a sub-3 hour marathon runner and winner of the Shamrock Marathon at Camp Fallujah, Iraq.

Greitens currently teaches on public service, ethics, and leadership at the University of Missouri, where he is a Senior Fellow at the Truman School of Public Affairs. He is also the chairman and CEO of The Mission Continues, a non-profit organization founded to empower wounded and disabled veterans to continue their service to their country.
