2nd Annual Advising Matters Conference

We are excited to extend to you an invitation to attend Virginia Tech's 2nd annual academic advising conference, Advising Matters, to be held at The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center on campus of Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, March 2, 2012.
At a time when budgets and personnel are stretched thin, the Advising Matters Conference is designed to be an economical way to offer access to a quality advising professional development opportunities. The conference will be a one-day event including a keynote address from Dr. Charlie Nutt, Executive Director of the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA), concurrent sessions, and other activities with the goal of enhancing advising knowledge and skills for faculty and staff at Virginia Tech while also increasing effectiveness of our advising programs.
Registration is a minimal fee of $25 for faculty, staff, and students of Virginia Tech. However, space is limited to the first 150 registrants. Registration information is available at www.advising.vt.edu and the deadline is February 24, 2012.
