Seminar: Lyme Disease in the NRV - Risks and Prevention in People and Pets

A special seminar titled "Lyme Disease in the New River Valley - Risks and Prevention in People and Pets" will be held on March 1. The event is sponsored by the Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Virginia- Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine.
Speakers include Zenithson Ng, DVM, resident in the college's Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences, and Maud Steinberg, RN, Southwest Virginia chapter facilitator of the National Capital Lyme Disease Association.
The event is free, open to the public, and will be held in the Community Room at the Montgomery-Floyd Regional Library located at 125 Sheltman St. in Christiansburg, Va.
