This workshop assumes you have created a site and have a basic familiarity with Scholar. This hands-on workshop shows you how you can create online tests and quizzes by building the assessment question by question or by importing assessments from text or MS Word files. Key settings of assessments will be discussed and will include information about timed exams, number of submissions allowed, feedback options, and gradebook integration. Frequently asked questions such as "How do I allow a student to retake an exam?" and "How do I grade exams or add comments?" will also be covered. Lastly, you will be introduced to question pools, where you can store assessment questions in a test pool to be used in multiple Scholar sites for quick and easy assessment building or can be shared with other Scholar users.
