The Department of Sociology and Africana Studies welcomes Aniko Bodroghkozy, Associate Professor of Media Studies - University of Virginia and author of Equal Time: Television and the Civil Rights Movement. She will lecture on her investigation into the treatment of events including the 1965 Selma voting rights campaign and the integration riots at University of Mississippi as well as the March on Washington. Afterwards she will be signing copies of her book.
