Join Sigma Alpha Epsilon and Virginia Tech Dining Services to Flex Out Hunger! April 24 through April 27, you can donate extra money from your Flex Plan, Dining Dollars, or Hokie Passport Account to help the needy in the local community. Fill out a donation form at tables on Dietrick Plaza (for donations in Deet's Place and DXpress), outside Hokie Grill & Co., Owens Food Court, Squires Food Court, and West End Market, then take your form to a cashier at these locations to deduct the donation from your account. Your donations will be used to purchase food certificates for the Montgomery County Emergency Assistance Program (MCEAP). MCEAP assists local families and individuals in immediate, temporary, and emergency situations. Efforts are coordinated with the major local social service agencies and with area civic and religious groups to serve those who do not qualiry for other public assistance or have exhausted theirbenefits.
