The class of 2016 of the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets will complete the first phase of the annual Caldwell March from the Caldwell homestead to the Caldwell Fields area. This is the first half of the twenty-six mile march made in 1872 by Addison Caldwell, the first cadet and student at Virginia Tech. During the spring semester, the first-year class will complete the second thirteen miles of the march starting at the Caldwell Fields area and returning to campus.
