Dr. Tal Stanley will present, "Of Photographs, Limestone, and Place: Learning and Teaching a New American Citizenship." He will address how places of Southwest Virginia and southern West Virginia are central to the American story.
Stanley is an author, historian, and community activist. He is a professor at Emory & Henry College and is a tenth-generation Southwest Virginian. More information...
