  Mock Law School Admissions Panel
(Academic)

On Tuesday, October 30, 2012, Associate Dean Michelle Rahman of the University of Richmond School of Law and Associate Dean John Benfield of the Charleston School of Law will be visiting Blacksburg. They will lead Virginia Tech students in a simulation of decision making by a law school admissions committee. Those who attend will be able to review copies of several law school applications (with identifying information removed) and will be asked to share their thoughts on which students to admit to a hypothetical law school entering class. This exercise will provide valuable perspectives toward the law school admissions process.

This event, which is open to the entire University community, will take place on Tuesday, October 30, from 7:00-8:30 p.m., in Whittemore 300, and is being sponsored by Virginia Tech's pre-law chapter of Phi Alpha Delta, the University pre-law advisors, and the Political Science Department.

You may direct any questions to Wayne Moore (prelaw@vt.edu) or Fernando Cota-Wertz (vtpad@vt.edu).
