Art History Presentations at the Taubman Museum of Art
(College of Architecture and Urban Studies)
The Taubman Museum of Art has partnered with Virginia Tech to allow students in a capstone art history course to research works of art in the museum's collection.
On Thursday, Nov. 15 those students will present the results of their research from 3 to 5 p.m.
Following the presentation, Justin Wolff, an art historian and associate professor of art history at the University of Maine, will present his research on Thomas Hart Benton's "The Cotton Picker" at 6 p.m. Wolff recently published the biography, "Thomas Hart Benton: A Life."
