This session will provide detailed information on the Virginia Sickness and Disability Program, the faculty short term and long term disability plan, including the new short term disability plan for restricted faculty members. This session will also cover the various university leave types for faculty and staff as well as the coordination of the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and Workers' Compensation.

Attendees will also receive an overview of Workers' Compensation and the Return to Work Program. Information will be covered relating to accident reporting, required paperwork for Workers' Compensation claims, salary impacts, and Workers' Compensation leave.
