This workshop is designed for members of a search committee and any other constituents who may participate at any given time in a search and screen process. The workshop provides participants an overview of the university's search and selection process that incorporates elements of a fair and equitable search for the best qualified candidates. Equity Initiatives through the Office of Equity and Access has developed goals and guidelines to assist members of the Virginia Tech community in conducting searches consistent with the university's commitment to Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunities with applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
