  Info Session: Undergraduate Research at Virginia Tech

What is undergraduate research and why should you do it? Come and learn about the exciting research resources and opportunities available to you on campus, nationally and internationally. Dr. Tomalei Vess, Director for the Office of Undergraduate Research Research, will provide you with borad information on the value and benefits of getting involved in undergraduate research. She will guide you through the process of searching for, applying to, and starting an undergraduate research experience. Ms. Keri Swaby, Scieneering Program Manager, will introduce you to the novel interdisciplinary Scieneering program, which offers undergraduate science and engineering students an opportunity to participate in coursework and research at the intersection of science, engineering and/or law.
