Reflections on Roads Less Traveled: a panel discussion on study abroad opportunities
(Special Event)

All are welcome to attend a panel discussion featuring Phi Beta Delta International Honor Society scholarship winners. Back from their recent travels, the panelists will share experiences and lessons learned while abroad. Dr. Tom Hammett, a charter member of Virginia Tech's Phi Beta Delta chapter and a past winner of the Alumni Award for Excellence in International Education (http://www.universityawards.vt.edu/award.php?item=653), will moderate the discussion.

Through the generous support of the Virginia Tech Language and Culture Institute, Virginia Tech's Gamma Omega chapter of Phi Beta Delta allocates scholarship funds for Virginia Tech students. Both graduate and undergraduate students are eligible to apply. Preference is given to students traveling to non-traditional locations, participating in a language component, and/or seeking a clear academic goal such as conducting research, serving an internship, or data collection. More information about the scholarships and the organization is available on the website (http://www.oired.vt.edu/PhiBetaDelta/).
