Salsa Massive
(Music/Theatre/Dance)
Grab your dancing shoes and your friends and head to Giovanni and O's Lounge (located next to Bollo's cafe, right down from the Blacksburg farmer's market) and dance to salsa, merengue, bachata, and reggaeton. The cost is $3 at the door, or $2 if you purchase a membership card with SalsaTech, which has the added benefit of getting you in free for professional salsa instructors' workshops.
The night begins with a beginner's lesson from 9:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. From then on it's dancing until the DJ gets tired (which is usually ~1:00-2:00 a.m.).
If you feel you're rusty or need more practice, then note that SalsaTech gives FREE lessons on Mondays from 6-8 p.m. See our website, contact us, or check the VT Event calendar for more specific information.
