Veterinary College Annual Open House
(Special Event)
The Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech will host its Annual Open House on Saturday, April 6 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Visitors will have the opportunity to take guided tours of the teaching hospital, watch a police dog demonstration, see how tiny cameras take veterinarians inside dogs and cats, and attend lectures on a variety of topics including how to prepare a competitive application to veterinary school, how the horse's gut anatomy predisposes them to colic, and more.
The Open House is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring a donation of dog food or dog toys to benefit local shelter dogs.
