How to Reduce Honor Code Violations : Each year the Undergraduate Honor System (UHS) hears between 200 to 300 cases. Many of these cases could have been avoided if the Honor Code Statement was properly stated. We will discuss various techniques instructors have used to reduce the number of honor code violations. In addition , this course will provide instructors an opportunity to write a course specific honor code statement that will be reviewed by UHS personnel. This short course is being presented in collaboration with the Virginia Tech Undergraduate Honor System Office.
