Exploring the ePortfolio Technology Landscape : Virginia Tech has achieved noteriety through its ability to balance ePortfolios for learning, assessment, and profoessional development all in one portfolio platform. While it is true that faculty have leveraged the built-in Scholar ePortfolio tools to award-winning success, the evolving technology landscape has much to offer those interested in using ePortfolios. This session presents a survey of available technologies that promote portfolio activities. ePortfolio objectives and needs will be discussed, and presenters will offer a framework for choosing technologies best suited for meeting curricular goals and objectives.
