Musica Viva presents the final concert of the season: Pianist Elizabeth Jeanne Schumann and Violist Maria Lambros Join the Avanti Ensemble in a concert featuring very beloved works of the chamber music literature. Elizabeth, who started her piano studies here in Blacksburg when she was four years old, is now performing on all continents as a solo pianist with orchestra, member of a piano trio,and a collaborative artist. Maria was a member of some of the most prestigious string quartets. Together, the different combinations of artists will perform Faure's famous and popular piano quartet in C Minor, Schubert's great string trio in B Flat, and piano music for four hands
