With a first place prize of $1,000, the Steger Poetry Prize is a coveted award among undergraduates. Named for the university's president, the Steger Prize is considered the largest monetary award in the country presented to an undergraduate for a poem about the future. The top-10 finalists will read their poems and the top three money winners will be announced.
