Elizabeth Mazzolini, Assistant Professor of English, presents her collection of original essays about various histories, discourses and representations of garbage. "Histories of the Dustheap" uses garbage, waste and refuse to investigate the relationships between various systems and will have the reader considering garbage in a way that goes beyond the common "buy green" discourse. A reception will follow Professor Mazzolini's remarks about her scholarship.
