(VTC)

About half of Americans report experiencing or witnessing faith-related discrimination or mistreatment of individuals. This session, part of the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine's Lunch and Learn series on diversity, will be facilitated by members of our local community and will highlight how you can play a role in helping others feel valued and creating an atmosphere of respect for individuals of all faith and non-faith perspectives.

Facilitators are Dr. Saleem Ahmed, assistant professor of biomedical science at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and Katie Zawacki, a retired Certified Prevention Professional.
