(Administration)

This one day course, delivered by FEMA program specialists, is designed to familiarize participants with the preliminary damage assessment (PDA) process, with documentation requirements for the Public Assistance (PA) and Individual Assistance (IA) Programs and with the federal declaration process. The course will discuss the responsibilities of the local government, the state and FEMA, and will include updates in IA/PA documentation. This is primarily geared toward addressing what the process is for documenting damages/expenditures properly to assure the best chances of getting a declaration.
