Hop Yard Open Haus

Join us for our first open house at the VT research hop yard, located at the Urban Horticulture Center located at 1004 Old Mill Rd (off of Prices Fork Rd.,across from Blacksburg High School).
No registration or fee; open to the general public.

- In-field presentation at 5:00 p.m.

Hops (flowers of Humulus lupulus) are the major bittering and aroma component of beer. Virginia Tech has embarked on research to help regional growers with this amazing yet challenging crop.
