ArtSphere
(Arts)
ArtSphere is an open critique, discussion, and fellowship forum hosted by the Moss Arts Center the second Sunday of each month in the Miles C. Horton Gallery in the Moss Arts Center (190 Alumni Mall, 2nd floor, Turner Street side of building, gallery with glass walls). ArtSphere is a space for emerging, working, or recently-graduated artists, art students, and art lovers to gather and share ideas, collaborate, network, or just talk. Exhibits Program Manager Meggin Hicklin created this space in response to conversations with area artists who voiced a desire for more opportunities for peer critique and collaboration, especially for those not connected with a university or who have graduated. There is no membership, no agenda, and no programming on the part of the Moss Arts Center. This is a group created for artists, by artists and will evolve and grow to fit the needs of those who participate. The Moss Arts Center will serve as the facility and will provide information and resources as able/needed. Feel free to bring images or samples of your own work, news of shows, sketches, or anything else from your world. All are welcome!
