Motorcycle Research and Technology Workshop
(Research)
This day will be dedicated to motorcycle research, with an emphasis on riding and rider data collected in naturalistic or dynamic conditions. The day will be valuable for those who need to understand rider capabilities, behaviors, and individual differences as measured in real-world situations. Production and near-term technologies for motorcycles and rider gear will also be demonstrated.
Attendees will observe typical and severe maneuvers performed on a test track with both motorcycles and cars; participants will later be able to compare what they observed to mild and severe events found in naturalistic riding data.
