Martin Jones has been one of Britain's most highly regarded solo pianists since first coming to international attention in 1968. In that year, he made his London debut at the Queen Elizabeth Hall and his New York debut at Carnegie Hall.

The program will feature compositions by a group of Virginia musicians composing especially for Jones, including faculty member Kent Holliday. the compositions all require the greatest virtuosic technique and display Martin's artistry.
