Open Access Week: Publishing Services at Virginia Tech

Do you want to improve access to research in your field by starting a new journal? Do you want to move an existing fee-based journal to open access? Or maybe you want to host a conference and publish the proceedings?
Virginia Tech's University Libraries can help! The Libraries host software that handles the editorial workflow so that it is easier to make the call for papers, monitor the peer review process, publish each issue, and more. These software packages are management and publishing systems, but you can control the look and feel of your publication. The Libraries also offer a variety of other publishing services including support for creating an online textbook and consulting on general publishing matters such as copyright, proposal writing, and choosing the right publisher-services that are available to anyone in the VT community.
