Pet Portraits with Santa
(Special Event)
Students at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine will continue their annual tradition of offering pets an opportunity to meet and be photographed with Santa Claus on Sunday, Nov. 13 from 9-11:30 a.m. and from 12:30-3 p.m. at the college's Blacksburg campus.
Cats, dogs, and exotic animals (no reptiles) are welcome. All pets must be contained or on a leash, and cats and dogs must have proof of rabies vaccination.
Photographs will be taken at the veterinary college's Veterinary Medicine Instruction Addition, located at 205 Duck Pond Drive. Signs will direct visitors to the event and ample parking will be available.
Cost is $10 for the best three photos, which will be delivered digitally.
The Santa pet photo program is being presented by the college's Omega Tau Sigma service fraternity. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Humane Society of Montgomery County.
