We are excited to welcome Professor Sonia Ben-Oagrham-Gormley from George Mason's School of Policy, Government, and International Affairs as our guest speaker. Her lecture will start at 7:00pm in room T3 at our Northern Virginia Center, but please join us for a small reception at 6:30pm. The second part of our mentoring session (ca. 8:15-9:15pm), will feature a hans-on workshop on a topic decided by our students (stay tuned for the poll!). Note that these mentoring events are open to all STS graduate students and can be helpful and informative for all phases of your graduate studies. PhD students are required (per Graduate School residency requirement policy) to attend at least 2 of the 4 PhD mentoring sessions offered each year.
