(Academic)

The Dept. of Religion and Culture and ACC Academic Collaborative are proud to host renowned Classical & Near Eastern archeologist Dr. Jodi Magness. Dr. Magness will speak on the excavation of the city of Huqoq in Galilee. Beginning in 2011, these excavations have brought to light a monumental late Roman (5th c CE) synagogue, whose floors are paved in stunning mosaics.

A reception will be held prior to the lecture.
