Author Justin Cronin will be joined by Thomas Kerkering, MD (Carilion Clinic), an infectious disease expert; Kathleen Alexander, PhD, DVM (VT), an expert in zoonosis; Rebecca Hester, PhD (VT), a Science and Technology Studies professor; Priscilla Wald, PhD (Duke), a professor of literature and author of Contagious; and Bernice L. Hausman, PhD (VT), as moderator. The panel will consider how the viral imagination affects our experience and understanding of pandemic illness and global disease outbreaks.
