As with most significant historic periods of any design field, the designers of the English Landscape School were the movers and shakers that literally moved and shook the earth to create a new enduring style of landscape design that was dominate in the English countryside. Most of these designers came into the field with little or no formal education, but in time, they left their own indelible marks on the history of landscape design.
