Medal of Honor Character Development Program Training
(Seminar/Conference)
The Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets' Rice Center for Leader Development and the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation will bring the Medal of Honor Character Development Program Training for middle and high school educators to campus.
The program uses oral histories to demonstrate examples of courage, commitment, sacrifice, integrity, citizenship, and patriotism and offers ways educators can inspire students to use these examples to influence changes in their own communities.
There is no cost for attendance, and breakfast and lunch will be provided. Schools can be reimbursed the cost of a substitute teacher.
