Kodak Moments The Shared Interests of HD Scholars and Contemporary Photographers
(Special Event)

A Talk by Eric McCollum, Professor of Human Development, Director, Marriage and Family Therapy Masters Program, National Capital Region
Monday, February 27, 1PM to 2 30PM, New Classroom Building, Room 220

Contemporary photographers are exploring the family, childhood and adolescence, aging, social justice and a number of other topics. Approaches between contemporary photographers and scholars who study everyday life are different, yet there are possibilities for collaboration or interchange. The arts may provide an alternative, and interesting, viewpoint to the work that we do. Erics talk will include photographic images and projects by a number of contemporary photographers that illustrate how these interests are being pursued.
